Day 01: Haridwar to Badrinath Distance (313.2 km/10 hr)
Your journey begins early in the morning as you depart from Haridwar.
- On the way, you will visit the mesmerizing Dharadevi Temple, an iconic temple dedicated to Goddess Kali situated in the middle of the Alaknanda River at Kalyasour.
- Continuing your drive, you will reach Guptkashi, an important pilgrimage center known for temples like Kashi Vishwanath and Ardhanarishwar as well as the holy Manikarnikkund, believed to be the place where the rivers Ganga and Yamuna meet. Legend has it that the Pandavas sought Lord Shiva here, but he escaped from them. This place testifies to his devotion.
- After reaching Badrinath, you will check in at your hotel and freshen up.
