Day 1: Haridwar-Barkot (210 km/7-8 hrs.)

Your journey begins as you depart from Haridwar and embark on a scenic drive to Barkot. The route takes you through the picturesque hill station of Mussoorie, where you will have the opportunity to witness the famous Kempty Fall, a spectacular waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. After enjoying the beauty of Mussoorie, continue your drive to Barkot. As soon as you reach Barkot, check in and stay at the hotel. The weather of Barkot is generally favorable during summer, with the temperature ranging between 25-30 °C. In winter, the days are cool and pleasant, while the nights are cold, with temperatures ranging from 10 to 5 °C.

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 km drive & 5 km trek)

Early morning, after a hearty breakfast, start your journey to Jankichatti or Phoolchatti, which is the starting point for your journey to Yamunotri. You can choose to cover a distance of 6 kms or opt for horse ride or doli (palanquin) at your own cost. The trek takes you through breathtaking landscapes, and on reaching Yamunotri, take a refreshing dip in the warm waters of Jamunabai Kund. Have divine darshan at Yamunaji Temple and immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere. After the visit, return to Jankichatti and drive back to Barkot for overnight stay.

Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 kms/4 hrs.)

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and then depart for Uttarkashi. On arrival, check into hotel and take some time to relax. In Uttarkashi, you will have the opportunity to visit the iconic Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a historical and sacred site dedicated to Lord Shiva. The city of Uttarkashi is known for its ashrams and temples and is situated on the banks of the holy river Ganga. The temperature in Uttarkashi during summer ranges between 30–35 °C, while the nights are pleasantly cool. The temperature becomes cold in winter, causing the night temperature to drop to around 5 degrees Celsius.

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km/3-4 each way)

Leave early in the morning to visit Gangotri, an important pilgrimage site situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi. Take a holy bath in the hot pond, then visit Gangotri temple. The serene Harshil valley adds to the beauty of the journey. After the journey return to Uttarkashi for night stay.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220 km/8-9 hrs.)

As the sun rises, start your drive to Guptkashi via Mulgarh and Lambagaon. On the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of Mandakini River at Tilwara. On reaching Guptkashi, check into hotel and rest. Guptkashi, often called the “Hidden Banaras”, holds mythological significance. It is said that Lord Shiva hid the Pandava brothers here before going to Kedarnath. Enjoy the pleasant weather of Guptkashi during summer, where the temperature ranges between 25-30 degrees Celsius.

Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath – Guptkashi (30 km by road and 19 km one way)

Start your day with early breakfast and depart for the holy Kedarnath Dham. Do full darshan of Kedarnath and either take night rest at Kedarnath Sarkar. Choose to arrive at the guest house or by helicopter (helicopter ticket not included). Kedarnath, a revered site dedicated to Lord Shiva, has immense spiritual significance. Alternatively, start the journey from Sonprayag to Kedarnath, then return to Guptkashi.

Helicopter Transfer: In the morning, our designated driver will accompany you to your scheduled helipad location (Fata, Guptkashi, Sirsi, etc.), as per your helicopter ticket schedule. We request that you provide the driver with the specific time specified on your helicopter ticket one day in advance. Different aviation service providers may use different locations for their helicopter services. Our driver will ensure both pick-up and drop-off from your hotel. We strongly recommend making advance reservations for helicopter service.

Trekking Route: If you are planning to reach Kedarnath via trekking route, then your journey starts by reaching Gaurikund. Early morning, after breakfast, we will arrange transportation to Sonprayag. Our vehicle will take you to Sonprayag, and from there, you can find local jeeps available for shared rides to Gaurikund at your own expense. The distance between Gaurikund and Kedarnath is approximately 14 kilometers, which you will cover by trekking.

Day 7: Guptkashi-Badrinath (160 km/7 hrs.)

After breakfast, continue to Badrinath, a major pilgrimage center dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Take a dip in Taptakund and visit Badrivishal. Explore other attractions in Badrinath, such as Mana Gaon, Vasundhara, Bhim Pul, and more. The weather in Badrinath is pleasant during summer, with an average maximum temperature of about 18 °C and an average minimum of 8 °C. Warm and woolen clothing is recommended for a comfortable stay.

Day 8: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (160 kms/7 hrs.)

Drive to Rudraprayag via Joshimath, stop at Joshimath to visit the Narasimha Temple. Joshimath is an important town associated with Adi Shankaracharya, and serves as the winter seat of Badrinath. On arrival at Rudraprayag check in at hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening. The weather in Rudraprayag during summer is generally hot, with temperatures ranging between 35-40 °C. The days and nights in winter are cold, with temperatures ranging from 20 to 5 °C.

Day 9: Rudraprayag – Haridwar (165 kms/5-6 hrs.)

End your Char Dham Yatra with a drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh. Rishikesh, also known as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’, is a spiritual city situated on the banks of the Ganges.
